Sangapalagai aims to be the home for all Digital Tamil Publications. It aims to unite customers, publishers, authors and advertisers on a multimedia platform with web 2.0 provisions.Sangapalagai will make digital magazines and books readable as easily and comfortably as you read a printed book or magazine. A special reader has been used using which the members can read their favorite magazines and turn the pages with a click of a mouse. You can zoom and read the important sections and enjoy presentations. You can book mark, Highlight and write notes. The content is encrypted and can be read only by the actual buyers and it cannot be copied.

This project, which was developed by the Human Genetics Unit (HGU) of the University of Colombo, provides consultations to patients in rural areas, with the use of videoconference technology. The primary focus of the consultations is genetic disorders, but other conditions are also accommodated. To deliver the project, HGU is working with a government established computer centre (Nenasala) in Koslanda and a major provincial hospital. While the staff and infrastructure needed is being provided by the hospital, the broadband connectivity required for project implementation is provided to the Hospital by the Nenasala. Doctors in both areas were made aware of the programme and requested to refer patients for consultation with the HGU via video-conference. These consultations are held by appointment, at both the major provincial hospital and the Koslanda Nenasala.

e-Sehat is an easy-to-use telehealth application used to provide quality healthcare services to underserved population through the use of audio-video chat. The e-Sehat application is available in English & Urdu languages. The e-Sehat application uses internet-based audio-video & text chat facilities to provide access to basic healthcare services to the remotest areas, at dramatically reduced costs.  The application is aimed at overcoming the challenges posed by scarcity of qualified doctors, unavailability of specialists and delays in the administration of proper treatment especially due to unavailability of proper transportation for shifting of patients to urban healthcare facilities.
